Food Retail Experience:
Creating a new eating experience with size in mind
For this project we were given a brief by Carlo Meo, to explore new ways of designing food and retail experiences. Our group had the theme of "size" which could mean the size of the space, the size of the food etc.
We decided to re-design an "all-you-can-eat" restaurant which is usually low budget and low quality food, and turn it into a high quality and luxurious tearoom. Small food bites (in "petit four" style) and tea in vintage teacups will be served on a conveyor belt like in a sushi bar, with different colour coded plates for allergies.
